Apply to be a Homecoming Ambassador candidate!
Ferris Homecoming is a celebration of pride, leadership, and the students who actively shape our campus community. Serving as a Homecoming Ambassador candidate is an opportunity to represent something you’re already invested in—your organization, your peers, and Ferris State University.
All accepted candidates receive Ferris-branded apparel, and the winner (announced at halftime at the football game on 9/26) receives a $500 scholarship for the Spring 2027 semester!
To qualify as a candidate for Homecoming Ambassador 2026, you must:
Be currently enrolled with Junior or Senior status by the Fall 2026 semester and remain enrolled for the entirety of the 2026-2027 academic year.
Be in good standing (not on Academic or Disciplinary Probation at the start of, and throughout, the 2026-2027 academic year).
Have paid the Student Activity Fee for the Fall 2026 semester.
Be endorsed by a Ferris-sponsored program/organization* (e.g., a Registered Student Organization, Greek Organization, Athletic Team, or Academic Program).
The candidate with the highest point total after Homecoming week (student vote + event attendance + judge panel assessment) will be named the 2026 Homecoming Ambassador.
