Ferris State’s Master of Information Security and Intelligence Ranks Best in Michigan and Prominently Among Nation’s Elite Ferris State University’s Information Security and Intelligence program continues to set a high educational bar, ranked as the top program in Michigan by U.S. News and World Report.

Students Will Allington, Lauren Lotzow, and other members of the Information Security and Intelligence Alliance (ISIA), are working on a research project under the guidance of ISI Associate Professor Dr. Molly Cooper to launch a satellite into space in early March 2023.

This student research group is an outgrowth of the new space cyber security class, ISIN 380 - Satellites and Space Cybersecurity, that began this fall and will also be offered this spring. The class introduces ISI students to concepts and tools to keep space vehicles and space systems secure. In addition to this project, there is a student group working on the Hack-A-Sat competition run by the U.S. Airforce, while receiving direction from our partner at Space Command.

FSU's IT Security has open positions in their Information Security department.
They are looking for a Level I, a Level II, and a Manager. A recent grad or someone close to graduating would be a great fit for the Level I/II.
