His House Christian Fellowship - FSU

Engaging Campus. Encountering Christ. His House Christian Fellowship is people –People who don’t give you the dead fish handshake when you meet them.

We are students from a variety of backgrounds who have come together to share our love for Jesus and our friendship with one another. We aren’t perfect and we aren’t the only Christians out there but we are growing. We are growing as individual Christians and we are growing as a group… a Church… Christ’s Church right here in the middle of campus. No matter what your background is you are welcome to join us as we pursue the God of the Bible. You can dive right in or you can just check us out for a while. You are welcome to come in and sit in the back of our meetings and just watch if you want – But don’t count on just sitting for long. Don’t expect to be left alone. Don’t think you’ll be able to be uninvolved.

We know that even when you're surrounded by people, sometimes it's hard to really connect and get to know others. That's why we host the Community Room! Every Tues, from 11-1 in the DEC, you can find a place to come play games, meet new people or even do your home work if you need to! It's all free, we don't ask you for anything except your name and you're welcome to bring friends or a game to share! We'd love to see you tomorrow in DEC 213!

We have multiple life groups beginning on Monday! We're offering women's or men's only and a co-ed group. Swipe through to see the options!

Several of our life groups will be studying 2 Timothy and working through the book together throughout this semester. No homework required!

Our co-ed group will be held off campus, about 8 miles north of campus at the Hogoboom's house. There will be dinner at 6 with a topical Bible study and discussion afterward. No prep for this one either! Just bring your Bible!

Now that the "newness" of the semester is over and we're into more of a routine, maybe you're feeling the tug to find your place, your community, your people here on campus. Those people who aren't back home, who aren't at another university. The ones who are right here. In the same buildings and dining halls. The ones who you could see multiple times a week in person.

Maybe you've been wanting that but you just don't know where to start.

Start with one Wednesday night at His House.

Hi! We're Joe & Kate, Ray & Hannah! The four of us (and our kids!) are so excited you're here!

We're all excited to welcome you and to walk alongside you in your college career. You'll find us hanging out on campus and you can always come say Hi! We also love hosting students and will gladly make you dinner. We love seeing what God is doing in your life and think our jobs are pretty much the best ever!

We had a great time meeting you yesterday at Bulldog Bonanza! We'd love to hear more of your story, so come and join us this weekend!

Tonight @ 9pm at our men's house, we'll have a bonfire with s'mores and fun. The address is 526 S. Michigan Ave, everyone is welcome!

Tomorrow starting at 4pm, we have a series of events! Our photo Scavenger Hunt will be meeting outside the DEC (@ the Quad Cafe entrance) and then you and your team will be completing the challenges on campus! We'll all meet back at our men's house for dinner (free food? Yes please!) and to look at everyone's photos! Then at 8pm, a group will be going to the Big Rapids airport for an outdoor movie showing of Top Gun: Maverick! Join us for any part of those events!

Photo Scavenger Hunt!

Meet at the Quad Cafe entrance of the DEC at 4. You can bring a team of friends or join one there! After the hunt, we'll have dinner at the men's house and give out awards for the most creative teams!

Afterwards, the community library is hosting an outdoor movie night at the Big Rapids airport! They'll be showing Top Gun: Maverick and a few of us are going to go see it!

It will be a great evening! Come and join us!

Tonight at the men's house!!

We know the weather looks a little iffy but even if this gets rained out, we'll still have the PBJ Bar and lots of games and community inside the house. And maybe dress for pickleball to be on the muddy side 😀

Remember the twist! You can't use a pickleball paddle for tonight!
