This picture speaks volumes. There are thing that we hold so near and dear that God will ask us to give to him...our feeble minds can not fathom the love and the blessings our Father in heaven wants to give us. Sometimes its hard to give up the things we love on this earth but when we trust, listen and follow our heavenly father, we realize that our life is all about aligning our life with God’s purpose and embracing His plan for us. With him we are seen, heard, loved, understood, disciplined, given grace, mercy and everlasting life in him! So many promises that God has made and he will deliver!

Just a few scriptures that lets you know Gods heart for us!

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” – Proverbs 3:5-6

Walking away from things of our past (sin) & towards the righteousness of God...we don't care if we "look weird" we are following Christ... how weird are you? 😁

2 Corinthians 5:12-15, 20 ESV
[12] We are not commending ourselves to you again but giving you cause to boast about us, so that you may be able to answer those who boast about outward appearance and not about what is in the heart. [13] For if we are beside ourselves, it is for God; if we are in our right mind, it is for you. [14] For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; [15] and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.

[20] Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

It feels appropriate with todays weather to ponder the question...Is my fire burning today? Do I need to top off my oil in my lamp or do I need to do maintenance on my wick🤔? We need to tend to our relationship with Christ by filling our hearts and mind with his word to fuel our lamps and cut off the parts of the wick that does not feed us.

When the world is falling apart and chaos is abounding and people are coming at you from every direction who or what is your cornerstone? Is Jesus your cornerstone? HE will never be crushed, will never be defeated and the safest place for us to be is in Jesus!
