The Powell Township School 7th & 8th Grade Class is hosting a Co****le Tournament Fundraiser to help raise money for their class trip!

Come play with us!

Reminder: Powell Township School’s Summer Playgroup is back! This fun and engaging playgroup is open to children ages birth to 5, their siblings, and a parent or caregiver. Our second meeting will be on June 10th.

This playgroup focuses on learning through play-based, child- and adult-directed activities that support development in motor skills, language, social-emotional growth, school readiness, and self-help skills. Families will enjoy themed activities, free play, learning centers, and snacks while learning from Charise Baker, early education teacher and speech therapist, about how each activity supports early childhood development.

You do not need to be a Powell Township resident to attend — this playgroup is open to all!

Drop in and play, meet new friends, and invite visiting family members to join the fun — WE LOVE NEW FRIENDS!

Well, that’s a wrap on our 2025–2026 school year!

The day started with an assembly where we honored the students who ran the Big Bay Relay and those who completed the four-day fifth- through eighth-grade hike. We also recognized Noah W**d for his accomplishment of completing four years of hiking, presented certificates for fourth-semester honor roll students, honored CeCe as Student of the Month, and celebrated Ella for winning the bike after her name was drawn from all of the Powell Prides earned throughout the year.

We then headed to Draver Park for a picnic and four activity stations, which included chalk art, stomp rockets, tug-of-war, and disc golf. Students who earned honor roll all four semesters were treated to a boat ride and pizza.

Have a great summer, everyone, and we’ll see you all on September 8th!
