💛💪 Join us in supporting SAMSON STRONG! 💪💛

Meet Samson! He's 4 years old, the funniest kid around, a Lego and Hot Wheels expert, a huge Def Leppard fan 🎸 and he has the best dance moves we know.

Samson has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a rare disease that slowly weakens the muscles. His family is facing a lot of costs for weekly therapies, medicines, leg braces, trips to specialists and changes to their home. Let's show them they're not alone. 🧡

I am so proud of my team. Today we were able to do two presentations in front of the kennebunk school district. To see how far we have come in three years is truly amazing and we couldn’t do it without a team like this one. So many amazing people that want to share their knowledge and help staff and families. Today hit me that we are changing the world one day at a time and I’m really thankful.

We have some BIG news to share... Tiny Triumphs is now a team of 21 amazing people! 🎉💛

When we started, it was just a dream: helping kids find their voice and celebrating every little win along the way. Now we have a whole crew of speech therapists, OTs, ed techs and office heroes who show up every single day for our families. We are SO grateful for each and every one of them. 🙏

To celebrate, we're starting a weekly Team Spotlight! ✨ Every week we'll introduce someone from our team: their favorite things, fun facts, and why they love what they do. You'll get to know the faces (and hearts!) behind Tiny Triumphs.

We're so proud of how far we've come and so excited for what's next. Here's to growing, learning, and celebrating every tiny triumph together! 🧡

Look how fun and engaging AAC can be!!

Ready, set…go! is one of my FAVORITE early AAC activities. Balloons, cars, spinners—anything where you can build anticipation of the grand finale! This child did not immediately know to press “go”; it started with me modeling it at least 10 times. Sometimes it can take 100 times! Be patient and keep it fun.

After you’ve modeled the activity at least a few times, before you model “go,” build in an expectant pause where the child can learn it is their turn to say something. If they don’t say anything, that’s okay! You press “go” yourself and keep modeling. Keep it fun and low-pressure!

We're sorry, but we have to cancel bowling this morning at 10 AM. The weather is rough and there are some power outages around the area, and we want everyone to stay safe and comfortable at home.

We know a lot of you were looking forward to it. So were we! We'll let you know our next date as soon as we set it.

I absolutely love this moment…there is a button on the device that is supposed to allow me to check her eye position so I can make sure the device is reading her eyes. For some reason, the button wasn’t working, and all of the sudden, she managed to pull it up with her eyes and immediately started laughing at me!

It has been so much fun watching more and more of her personality come out with the help of AAC🥰
