Another solo in the books!

Congratulations to Brea mond on her first solo flight at just 16 years old with only 14 hours of flight time!

Brea came to Mitiguy Aviation with a serious passion for aviation. Just 14 hours later, she was ready to take the airplane up on her own.

At only 16, she already has her career path mapped out: earn her ratings, become a flight instructor with Mitiguy Aviation, and then continue on to the airlines.

An incredible start to what we’re sure will be a very bright future in aviation. Congratulations, Brea!

Congrats to Chelsea on passing her Private Pilot Checkride!

We were up against a tight deadline to finish Chelsea’s PPL during the back half of this summer, and we did it!

Chelsea put in a tremendous amount of work to make it happen. She stayed focused, worked hard, and kept pushing toward the finish line, which made this victory taste even sweeter.

It’s always rewarding to see a student set an ambitious goal, put in the work, and accomplish exactly what they set out to do. We’re incredibly proud of Chelsea and excited to see where aviation takes her next.

Congrats to Kevin Cruz on passing his Commercial Pilot Check Ride!

Kevin came to Mitiguy Aviation looking to finish his training quickly with high-quality instruction. From day one, his passion, work ethic, and natural ability stood out. He quickly became one of the strongest students in our program. His professionalism, decision-making, and calm cockpit presence are well beyond his experience level.

Beyond training, Kevin has shown great loyalty to Mitiguy Aviation and helped grow our community by bringing in many new students. We’re very grateful for his support and trust. We were pleased to write him a strong recommendation letter to work for the airlines!

More importantly, Kevin is an incredible person and a great friend to Mitiguy Aviation. A truly exceptional pilot with a very bright future ahead.

Another solo in the books!

Congrats to Kristin on her first solo flight!

Kristin is a MIT Flying Club member and is so fun to have around the school. She is always telling people to come train with us and making the instructors laugh every lesson. She accomplished her first solo flight very quickly and we couldn’t be more proud!

Congratulations to John on passing his Private Pilot Checkride!

After starting at another local flight school, John transferred to Mitiguy Aviation and enrolled in our Accelerated Pilot Program to fast-track his training.

John has quickly become one of the guys around the school. He’s laid back, easy to be around, and one hell of a pilot. Behind the chill personality is a hardworking student who put in the effort every step of the way to earn his Private Pilot Certificate.

What’s even more exciting is that this is just the beginning. John is pursuing aviation as career 2.0 with the goal of becoming an airline pilot, and we can’t wait to be part of that journey.

Congrats to Ethan who is a MIT Flying Club member, for soloing in under 20 hours through our Solo In 20 Program. He was ready to solo at 10 hours. Huge milestone!
