School is just around the corner! Stressful times for everyone- kids and parents, and also TEACHERS! Take a moment to realize that the first day is just that. A first day. There will be 179 days more this school year- time to get things right, to make some changes, to organize school supplies, to wear a special outfit, for your kids to make a new friend. Enjoy the moments along the way!

Worrying that your child may regress this summer? We offer individualized tutoring in writing, reading and math for your K -5 student. We will get your child wanting to read and loving to write!

Sorry to say Art Camp won't be running this summer. We heard from a lot of people that they had conflicts with the dates and time. Hoping to see many of you in the fall for a Book Club or a Painting class- We will post here in September. Remember to reach out if your child needs tutoring or "coaching" this summer. ART CAMP! Message us if you are interested in art camp. A bit modified from past years- just four days- Monday through Thursday July 18-21st. 9 AM to noon. Details t follow. Maximum 22 students. (Kids entering grades 1 -5)

We had our last class today. What a great group of kids! The read, they wrote, they read some more! And at each session they shared willingly with the group. Just perfect! Thank you parents for trusting us with your precious kids. WE HAD A GREAT FIVE WEEK EXPERIENCE!!!

We have had an amazing 4 weeks of our Book Club. We have read some books and used them as models for writing. Also, we have weekly discussions about books kids are reading at home. It has been fun! Last week we read Ragged Shadows, a book of Halloween poetry illustrated by a local artist. It inspired these amazing watercolor illustrations, AND some spooky poems!
LAST CLASS IS THIS THURSDAY NOVEMBER 4th.

Finally! Offering a five week Book Club for kids in grades 1 -4. Begins in October. Thursday afternoons 2:20 to 3:50 PM. Space is limited to 10. Message us if interested.

It's April, and we promised to post about the camp. We have checked out local and CDC guidelines for summer programs. There are still many restrictions in place for gatherings of kids in inside settings, many of which would be difficult to implement due to the structure and makeup of our camp. At this time (while we await new information and protocols) we are sorry to say that the Art Camp for 2021 is doubtful. We will update in a week or so. Thank you to all who support us! We appreciate it so much.
