Today was the final day of our ESY program, and what a wonderful summer it has been! ☀️💙💚

Thank you to our students, families, and staff for making this summer program such a success. We hope everyone enjoys the next couple of weeks to relax, recharge, and enjoy the rest of summer.

At NEC, providing students with the technology they need to learn, create, and succeed is an ongoing priority—one that is made possible through the generosity of our philanthropic partners.

We are deeply grateful to the Rockland Trust Charitable Foundation and the M&T Bank Charitable Foundation for their continued commitment to our mission. Their recent grant awards have placed much-needed Chromebooks and iPads into the hands of our students, expanding access to technology and creating new opportunities for learning every day.

🎸The Northshore Academy Lower School (NSAL) in Peabody is excited to share that our students have received a generous donation of musical instruments, including 12 ukuleles, from The Guitar Center Music Foundation!

This incredible gift will help expand hands-on music learning opportunities, inspire creativity, and bring the joy of making music to even more students. We are grateful for the Foundation's commitment to supporting music education and helping young musicians discover their talents.

📣 Welcome Back, NEC Students & Staff! 💙💚🤍

Today we officially kick off our Extended School Year (ESY) 2026 Program!

We are excited to welcome back our amazing students, families, and dedicated staff for another summer of learning, growth, and connection. Thank you to everyone who helps make NEC such a special place!

We would also like to extend a very warm welcome to Morgan Meyer, our new Principal of Northshore Academy Upper School . We are thrilled to have Morgan join the NEC family and look forward to a wonderful year ahead!

We hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable 4th of July weekend, and we wish all of our students and staff a successful and rewarding ESY!

As the school year comes to a close, we celebrate the accomplishments of all our students—especially those who graduated or reached important milestones during our recent graduations and moving-up ceremony.

We are incredibly proud of their hard work, resilience, and growth. Thank you to our dedicated staff and supportive families who help make these successes possible every day.

Many of you may remember Kathy Hardwick, a beloved KOG teacher, colleague, and friend. In her honor, her family created the Kathy’s Kids Foundation , which supports NEC and its students.

The Foundation is putting together a video tribute to celebrate Kathy’s lasting impact and is looking for friends, colleagues, and former students to participate. Video and/or short write up contributions (with photos if you want) are due by June 30. Please see the attached flyer for details! 💙
