The Red Bird Christian family is incredibly proud of Jagger and Ashton Bowling and The Creekers for making their Grand Ole Opry debut last night! What an amazing accomplishment and a moment they will never forget. It is always special to see our Red Bird students and alumni carry their Appalachian roots, God-given talents, and love of music onto such a legendary stage. Congratulations! You have made all of us at Red Bird Christian so proud!

As President of the Red Bird School Alumni Association, I invite you and your family to our Young Alumni Reunion on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Cardinal House.

Bring a covered dish and enjoy an evening of food, fellowship, memories, laughter, and a bonfire! All alumni are welcome—invite your classmates and make it a night to remember.

Class reunions matter because they reconnect old friends, preserve our shared memories, and strengthen the Red Bird School family for generations to come.

Friends of Red Bird,

It is with great pride and a grateful heart that I invite each of you to join us for a truly historic occasion as we dedicate the Kentucky Historical Society Historical Marker honoring Red Bird Mission.

This is more than the unveiling of a marker. It is a celebration of 105 years of faith, education, service, and the countless lives that have been forever changed by Red Bird Mission.

Whether you are a graduate, current or former employee, parent, student, member of the Red Bird community, or simply someone whose life has been touched by this special place, this day belongs to you.

Together, we’ll honor those who came before us, celebrate the legacy they built, and recognize the enduring impact Red Bird Mission continues to have on our mountains and beyond.

I hope you’ll make plans to stand with us as history is made.
