This past weekend was one of those once in a lifetime 3 days and 4 total forays under my belt. Thanks to Greater Newburyport Adult & Community Education, Essex National Heritage Area, Ipswich Public Library and a private client that were all part of this! Fungi on North Shore are as diverse as local myco-philes I have meet. Hope to see you all soon, lovely clients, new and old clients, myco-lovers! Keep eyes open for more mushrooms out there! Maybe a pop up walk?

Fungi are waiting - today I meet with patrons of Ipswich Public Library. 10.30am bring your eyes and curious minds.

Sep trip to Northwoods Foray 2026 in Cable, Wi was everything mycologist could imagine. Spotted new fungi, made new friends and enjoyed superior weather, location and friends. Don't hesitate to apply for a BMC scholarship as I did. You may be in for learning experience of a lifetime.
