Yilmeh Academy began as a dream with the goal of helping others in Liberia and teaching them how to be self-reliant.
Our small dream took a different path when the Liberian Civil Unrest Crisis grew to engulf the country and create a generation of war children. From then we knew our mission was to pull the youth from the hopeless conditions the Civic Unrest had left our children in. The school is to be self-sustaining and environmentally friendly.
