Her Majesty The Queen has had a “jam sandwich” every day since she was five years old. It was called the ‘jam penny’ - which The Queen was served as a little girl and has eaten for afternoon tea. The delicacy is a combination of strawberry jam and some butter. Paddington Bear will surely be pleased!

When shots rang out Friday at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut, Principal Dawn Hochsprung ran from a room where she was meeting with a parent and other staff members, school occupational therapist Diane Day.
