This belief colors every aspect of our school. Whether in academic studies or artistic avenues of expression, we see that each child has the potential inside of him or her to succeed, and we want to provide the kind of environment that cultivates and encourages what is special in every individual student. Our students, aged 4½ to 12 years old, will some day be the scientists, lawyers, educators, actors, musicians, designers, businesspeople, executives, photographers, accountants, and even rabbis of the future, and we believe that the earlier a person can identify the gifts that s/he possess, the more opportunity there will be to cultivate those talents. The areas of thought, exploration, and creation that give a particular student a feeling of self-actualization and self-worth, must be engaged in a way that keeps the student interested, challenged, and encouraged. In order to accomplish this task, our school believes in:
