This lyricwriting lesson plan is both a literacy and a social emotional learning experience that encourages collaboration, team building skills, communication, self-expression, and LITERACY. Through using words as lyrics, kids gain reading, speaking, and writing skills. And KIDS HAVE FUN while doing it... They dont even know they are learning. And who knows... they may discover a hidden talent they didn't know they had!
