On Tuesday our 2nd grade Huskies went on a Field Trip to the Heritage Square Museum! What an wonderful adventure and taste of Los Angeles history.

This past Saturday, 15 4th and 5th grade students (led by fearless leaders Ms. Stam & Ms. Brizuela) competed in one of the largest Science Olympiad competitions in the nation! Over 50 schools across the Los Angeles region gathered in Temple City to put their science knowledge to the test. Students were assessed on subjects such as constellations, the metric system, the laws of gravity, environmental science, geology, and much more.
Congratulations to our Horace Mann Huskies for earning the SILVER MEDAL!!!!. We are so proud of you!

Please join us May 6th at 5:30pm in the ark Rodeo Auditorium for the ever-impressive BHUSD Honor Choir, filled with talented singers of both El Rodeo & Horace Mann 3rd-5th grade students and led by Mrs. Chan and Ms. G!

Thursday April 23rd at 3:30pm is the Annual Husky Talent Show! Each year the show gets better and better… we can’t wait to see our young huskies grace the stage! See times and dates for upcoming rehearsals if you’re one of the performers.

Family Art Day is here! Spots will fill FAST so sign up ASAP: tinyurl.com/FAD2026 Enjoy a 2-hour art experience under the guidance of our HM art teacher, Ms. Graham! Together each family will create a mixed media art piece inspired by the universal “Tree of Life” theme, experimenting with a variety of materials and techniques including printmaking and collage. To make things even more exciting, there will be three raffle prizes given!
