What an incredible evening of Braiding Community Together in Northern Area of Hadassah Southern California

Apppx 100 women, from every generation, came together for a beautiful night of connection, inspiration, music and community.

Shira Kreotenberg filled the room with her beautiful voice. President of Northern Area, Stacey Dorenfeld was and is always inspiring.
Ben Carasso only 11 years old, gave us an incredible reminder to use our voice and make a difference.
And then Marcie Natan followed this amazing young man, sharing her passion for Youth Aliyah and giving us a glimpse into the lifechanging work of Hadassah.

And what better way to end the evening than with all of us kneading challah together, literally and figuratively braiding our community together!

A huge thank you to Carolyn Ormond and Pam Kreitenberg for chairing such a fabulous event, and to your incredible committee for bringing it all to life. Thank you to Shira for sharing her beautiful talent, and to Estee Diamond and all of the Evolve women for showing up in such a wonderful way. The turnout was truly fantastic!

And perhaps the sweetest part of the evening was sharing a cup of kindness, because when women come together, lift one another up, use their voices and give from the heart, we create something truly special.

We are thrilled to welcome Ben Carasso, the 11-year-old “Spokeskid” of Israel who has become a powerful voice for Israel and Israeli children. Since October 7, his videos have received millions of views, and he has spoken around the world.

We will also hear from Marcie Natan, Past National President of Hadassah, who will speak about Hadassah’s lifechanging Youth Aliyah program.

But what else will we do on Monday, August 31st at 6:30 pm (will get address and details when register)

What an incredible day today! ❤️💙 Hadassah Southern California celebrated 110 years of making a difference in Los Angeles!

In 110 years, we have accomplished SO much, raised so much money, witnessed the lifechanging accomplishments of Hadassah and we can’t wait to see what they do next!

A huge thank you to Carolyn Dunn Ormond and Cheryl Stark for chairing this fabulous day! And thank you, Lisa Hoffman for your vision, leadership, and everything you do as President of HSC.

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported, and helped make today so special. You ALL lit up the room! ❤️💙

We had incredible speakers and performers, including Hadassah’s Dr. Tal Keidar Haran, Rabbi David Wolpe, the amazing singer Kimberly Haynes, and a very special appearance by Henrietta Szold!

Hadassah truly leads the way in so many ways and the incredible women (and associates) of Southern California will definitely continue to do so!

Here’s to celebrating 110 years of LIFECHANGING accomplishments and looking forward to all that is still to come! ❤️💙
