We view our Goddard School as an extension of your home, and we were excited to welcome all of our Goddard families out to get to know and connect with their child's Teacher, and each other, in a relaxed atmosphere. 🖌️Goddard Art Gallery!🖌️

Ms. Constance has been hard at work this week turning our hallway into our annual Goddard Art Gallery! Art in preschool is so much more than a fun activity. Through creative expression, children develop fine motor skills, build confidence, strengthen problem-solving abilities, and learn to communicate their ideas in meaningful ways. Most importantly, art gives children the freedom to explore, imagine, and celebrate their individuality. We may be a little partial, but we think our Goddard students make the best artwork! We can't wait for everyone to stop by and check out the children's work!

It's been another great week at The Goddard School of Beverly Hills! This week the children explored the the inquiry 'What Is In Outer Space?' where the children exercised their imaginations, read books about space and built their own rocket ships, promoting positive social skills like teamwork and turn taking along the way. We also had lots of outdoor time, field trips, splash days and special visitors like Science Heros visit the school with some engaging experiments for the children! 🐍Field Trip Photo Drop!🐠

Our Goddard School was full of energy again this past week with a trip to The Reptarium where the children had more hands-on learning experiences; they were able to see and touch some of the live exotic animals that they read about in books! And this week we had DJ Jen visit the school to throw a fun dance party where all of the children were able to shake, dance and sing their favorite children's songs!

It's been another fun summer week at The Goddard School of Beverly Hills! We've had Crazy Craig visit the school to entertain the children, a small baby shower for Ms. Becca, a field trip to the splash pad, our very own talent show, tie dye fun... as well as various curricular activities focused on ensuring the children that graduate our Goddard school are ready for kindergarten both academically and socially!

🚒The Village of Beverly Hills Public Safety!🚒

We wanted to send a huge shout out to The Village of Beverly Hills Public Safety! They do so much for our community, and today they went over and above by stopping by our school to provide all the children a hand-on experience with a real fire truck! The children got to go inside the fire truck to check it out, were excited by the flashing lights and got to ask whatever questions were on their mind. Even our infants got to check out all the excitement! ❤️🤍💙

1. They’re building confidence to try things independently. Examples: walking into a room first, asking for help, or giving something new a try.
2. They’re starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if they’re not reading just yet.
3. They’re showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.

Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can are a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.

It was another fun week at The Goddard School of Beverly Hills! In addition to our engaging Wonder Of Learning curriculum, we started the week with a petting farm parking lot takeover, then a trip to the movies to see Toy Story 5 and had a great day inside today for Tie Dye Day!

📚Summer Reading Challenge📚

Look what Ms. Constance has been up to now! She has transformed the entrance of our school into a giant board game for our summer reading challenge! Whether the children are reading with their teachers in class, or with their parents at home, they will be working in teams to make their way through the game board and stopping along the way if they land on a challenge. What a great way to make reading even more fun for the children!
