Fourth Sunday of Easter — Feast of the Good Shepherd
Today our parish family celebrates the Good Shepherd who leads us, knows us, and gathers us close. On this Feast Day, we give thanks for the way Christ guides our community and calls us to walk together in faith. It is also Vocation Sunday, and we hold in prayer Fr. Ed, Fr. O'Ryan, Fr. James, Sr. Virginia and all those who serve the Church and those discerning a call to shepherd God’s people.

Spring has sprung at Good Shepherd Catholic School, and our hearts are full! As we enjoy the warmer weather, we are focusing on faith, family, and virtue.
Following St. Patrick’s example of bold faith and St. Joseph’s example of quiet strength, our students are learning what it means to be true disciples. From wearing green to learning about the foster father of Jesus, we are blessed to celebrate these heroic saints in our community.
St. Patrick, pray for us. ☘️
St. Joseph, pray for us. 🛠️

Good Shepherd Catholic School is incredibly blessed to have Father Ed Benioff as our pastor. Fr. Ed emphasizes a “spiritual fatherhood” that involves sacrifice, focusing on serving the homeless, and ensuring children in the community feel supported in their faith and academic potential. He is known for his advocacy for Catholic education, leading the “Feed My Poor” ministry to aid the homeless, and focusing on spiritual mentorship for parishioners and students.
“As Pastor of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, it is my highest priority to ensure that all the families in our school community experience the transforming love of Jesus Christ!“
Happy Birthday Father Ed!!!
We love you! ❤️
