Our first day in the new playroom was a huge success. It has already had a positive effect on their behavior! I’m very excited!

The new playroom is basically finished and ready for a test run on Monday. I’m still waiting on the outlet box and the edge pieces, which are in transit and should be here soon. I’m excited to see what the kids will think of it!

Floor finished, except for edges. Couldn’t order them until I knew how many I needed. On to more fun stuff. I’m hoping to finish it off next weekend.

Week two of project play room. Shelving - gone. Rubber floor tiles with a fall rating of four feet - in progress. The sand/water table will stay in the little corner without the rubber floor tiles for ease of cleanup.

Things I never thought I’d say as a child care provider: Ma’am, why are you trying to eat the tarantula? No, thank you.

For those who are now mortified and have serious doubts about the quality of care the children are receiving, it was not a real spider. We have some extremely realistic toy animal figures.
