Happy Father's Day to all the great dads in the Rivermont Collegiate community!

Space is still available for grade school and middle school students at Camp Rivermont!

Campers in grades 6-8 will enjoy a dynamic, enriching summer experience designed specifically for middle school students. This program emphasizes independence, collaboration, and leadership through hands-on activities, challenges, and creative experiences that engage and inspire older campers.

Our K-5 camp is vibrant and inclusive. It is dedicated to providing a holistic experience that nurtures the whole child through a blend of indoor and outdoor activities, cognitive development programs, and a fun environment.

Exciting things are growing at Rivermont Collegiate!

This will be Chef Mel’s first year at Rivermont, and she is already planting the seeds for a healthier, more hands-on dining experience for our students. This summer, she has begun creating a school garden that will provide fresh ingredients for meals served throughout the school year.

She has already planted a variety of vegetables, fruits, and herbs, including bell peppers, Anaheim peppers, eggplant, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, red cabbage, squash, cauliflower, tomatoes, pumpkins, strawberries, garlic chives, oregano, cilantro, basil, and parsley.

When school begins, students will have the opportunity to get involved by helping care for the garden and learning firsthand where their food comes from. Plans also include a composting area to support sustainable practices and to teach environmental stewardship.

We're excited to see this project grow and to offer even more fresh, healthy options to our campus community. Stay tuned for updates!
