Hi my name is Susanna Buck and I have 18 years experience teaching middle and high school math. I also have done private tutoring for 15 years. I graduated from Augie with a major in math and concentrations in education and French. I tutor from middle school up to Calculus 1. I do not tutor statistics however. I have been certified in both IA and IL in 6th - 12th grade math. I retired from teaching school early for health reasons but still enjoy helping students individually. I tutor in my home and my rate is $30 for a 50 minute session. My husband teaches math at Bettendorf High School also one of my kids is an engineer and the other is a data analyst. I feel that it is very important to get to know my students personally! I never know what hobby or activity might help me explain a math concept in a way that interests the student and plays to their unique learning style.
