We Were The Quad-Cities Only Piano Specialty Store FOSTER FAMILY MUSIC IS NOW RETIRED PERMANENTLY. We were the area's only piano specialty store.
Foster Family Music was established by Jim Foster in 1984 and was a family-owned business. We provided quality pianos for 30 years! In 2005, Christi Foster, Jim's daughter, joined Foster Music as co-owner. Foster Family Music has helped thousands of people find the perfect piano for their home. We sold and rented new and used pianos (including Yamaha Pianos) in the Quad Cities and surrounding area

Clavinova Festival was created right here in the Quad Cities by Jim Foster. It has since become an annual event that piano students participate in all over the United States. This festival helps students work on their creative composition skills, rhythm, performance habits, and more! We are grateful to all past and present teachers, parents, judges, students, and staff who have helped make this event spectacular.
