Foster Family Music

Foster Family Music We Were The Quad-Cities Only Piano Specialty Store FOSTER FAMILY MUSIC IS NOW RETIRED PERMANENTLY. We were the area's only piano specialty store.

Foster Family Music was established by Jim Foster in 1984 and was a family-owned business. We provided quality pianos for 30 years! In 2005, Christi Foster, Jim's daughter, joined Foster Music as co-owner. Foster Family Music has helped thousands of people find the perfect piano for their home. We sold and rented new and used pianos (including Yamaha Pianos) in the Quad Cities and surrounding areas from our central Quad-Cities location. We had the areas largest selection of pianos; including grand pianos, console pianos, digital pianos such as the Clavinova, and player pianos such as the Disklavier! We also provide piano teacher references, piano studios for teachers to rent, a large selection of piano music (over $80,000 of music in stock), piano recital hall for piano teacher use, piano repair and piano tuning references.

Thank you Quad Cities! After 30 great years of making music Foster Family Music will be closing to focus on family! Jim & Marilyn are completely retiring & Christi & her husband Matt have decided that they want to focus on raising their growing family without the demands of a business. This is your final chance to buy a piano from Fosters with amazing discounts - & most pianos have full factory warranties! Make an appointment to find the perfect piano for your family but don't delay - advertising will start this week!

Foster Family Music Center — the last remaining piano specialty store in the Quad-Cities — is making plans for its grand finale.

Clavinova Festival was created right here in the Quad Cities by Jim Foster. It has since become an annual event that piano students participate in all over the United States. This festival helps students work on their creative composition skills, rhythm, performance habits, and more! We are grateful to all past and present teachers, parents, judges, students, and staff who have helped make this event spectacular.

We're half way through the day at our 25th Clavinova Festival! Congratulations to all participants!
