What a journey it has been for our community. Both ThePlace2B and Life By Seasons.

For these kids the journey has been incredible to watch and be a part of. Our own James Castillo coaches these teens in the evenings when he’s not at the clinic. What originally started as a creative endeavor to mix sports and mental health empowerment, has turned into an opportunity to grow in the most amazing ways. On top of what’s already mentioned in the original post by the YWCA Quad Cities, every coach, referee, tournament staff, and parent interaction we had with during the tournament all said YWCA FC was their favorite team to watch as they played with so much heart and flare.

With all this it’s been an exciting journey for Life By Seasons as well. As we continue to grow in our practice, our community outreach keeps getting more impactful. Including James’ involvement as a coach, Life By Seasons helped sponsor the team financially and our logo was graciously added to the jersey. Kristen went to almost every game an hour and a half away just to support in person. It’s always been our passion to involve ourselves in community with our journal circles, our 30 Days of Wellness events, and so much more! It’s amazing to see the victories like our kids here at ThePlace2B flourishing with all the support they deserve. Congratulations YWCA FC!
