Modern Rhythms Dance Academy At Modern Rhythms Dance Academy we are one big family; a family that has a spectacular new home!

Centrally located in Bethpage Long Island, our brand new, state-of-the art dance studio has it all. Bright lights and bold colors adorn our three spacious air conditioned rooms. Each are equipped with exclusive, custom-made marley dance floors, which provide the utmost safety for your child. We have designed a student lounge for all dancers to relax or catch up on school work before and after thei

r scheduled classes. We have provided wireless internet along with a flat screen TV for all to enjoy. Our dance studio is a positive, loving atmosphere and we want all our young dancers to feel as if their studio is nothing short of a second home.

At our Company Banquet, we celebrated all of our dancers and their monumental achievements throughout this incredible dance season. We are so proud of each and every one of them. Every dancer brings something unique and special to our company, and we couldn’t be more grateful to call them family. Congratulations on an amazing season, dancers! On September 27, 2024, our lives were changed forever when we lost one of our own, Lauren Andruzzi. Lauren embodied everything that Modern Rhythms stands for—hard work, loyalty, kindness, and an undeniable love for dance.

She was the brightest light in every room, always smiling and welcoming others into the studio, her life, and her friendship.

She supported every teammate, led by example, and was a role model to all who knew her. Lauren had a unique ability to make people feel valued and loved, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met.

She made our studio, our community, and the world a better place. Lauren was truly one of a kind—a rare and unforgettable soul whose legacy continues to inspire us every day. Her spirit lives on through the values she represented and the countless lives she touched.

To honor Lauren’s memory, we created the Lauren Andruzzi Memorial Scholarship, awarded each year to a student who embodies the same qualities Lauren carried throughout her dance career—hard work, loyalty, kindness, leadership, and a genuine love for dance.

Ava Coppeto, we could not be more proud to present you with this honor. This is more than just a scholarship; it is a legacy that keeps Lauren’s spirit alive within our studio and serves as a reminder of the incredible person she was.

We would also like to recognize Gabriella Papadatos, our 2025 recipient, who represented this title with grace, humility, and excellence throughout the year. As the torch is passed to Ava, we know it is in wonderful hands.

Ava received this award on what would have been Lauren’s 22nd birthday, making this moment even more meaningful.

Lauren, we love you, we miss you, and we think about you every single day. Your legacy continues to shine through the dancers who proudly carry your memory forward. Though you were taken from us far too soon, your light will forever remain a part of Modern Rhythms, guiding and inspiring generations to come.💚💙

Recital 2026, year 15!! Thank you to all of our MRDA families, dancers, staff and friends for making recital day such a wonderful success! Four incredible shows, countless unforgettable moments, and so much talent, dedication, and support on display. We couldn't have done it without each and every one of you. We truly gave the best dance family! Thank you for being part of our dance family and helping make this day so special. We are grateful beyond words! 💙💚

Congratulations to our graduating seniors, Class of 2026! 🎓✨

Each of you has left an incredible mark on our studio and will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Watching you grow as dancers and as young adults has been one of our greatest privileges.

As we prepare for your final recital, our hearts are filled with both pride and sadness. We are so excited to celebrate all that you have accomplished, while knowing how much we will miss seeing you in the studio each day.

Thank you for the memories, the laughter, the hard work, and the countless moments that have made our studio family stronger. We will be cheering you on at your last recital and throughout every chapter that follows.

Congratulations to Alyssa Reo for getting the 13 & over Dance Xplosion X-Factor award!! She was hand picked out of all group dances performed all day (and boy was it a long day was MANY dances) for standing out and possesses star quality! The “IT” factor! Always doing everything full out, working so hard, kind to others, we are glad Dance Xplosion saw what we see!!! We love you Alyssa!! ⭐️🤩💫🏆
