On May 28, the William Allen High School hosted a closing ceremony for its Peer Mentoring Program. This initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office and the Center for Humanistic Change. The CHC is very proud to be part of this initiative through the Allentown School District.

On May 13, the Allentown School District hosted its Multi-Disciplinary Project Exposition (MDPE) at the PPL Center. The Center for Humanistic Change participated with a resource table, engaging attendees in conversations about prevention education supporting student well-being. Students also took part in interactive reflection questions, creating opportunities for dialogue, learning, and connection to available supports and resources.

June is Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈

🌈 LGBTQ+ individuals experience substance use disorders at nearly double the rate than non-LGBTQ+ individuals. Increasing access to inclusive care can help reduce disparities and support healthier communities.

On May 26, the Lehigh Career & Technical Institute invited the Center for Humanistic Change to host a resource table on campus. Students explored substance misuse prevention resources. Through conversations and resource materials, we helped empower young people to make informed choices that support lifelong wellness.

Eating disorders can affect anybody. Raising awareness, reducing stigma, and promoting early intervention are important steps in prevention and recovery.
