Students intending to prepare to become teachers of children from infancy through twelfth grade may start their educational preparation at Northampton Community College. NCC offers five distinct degree programs that will prepare students for a variety of teaching positions. Our degree programs are:
* Early Childhood Education: Infant to Grade 4,
AAS
*Middle Level Education: Grades 4 to 8, AA

NCC was awarded $150,000 from the Pennsylvania Department of Education for the Parent Pathways Initiative. The program will fund a dedicated parent navigator, childcare scholarships, and emergency aid for parenting students to complete their studies.
