What better way to celebrate the last week of school than with a giant water slide? Thanks to your support throughout the year, the PTA was able to help make these end-of-year celebrations extra memorable for our students.

¿Qué mejor manera de celebrar la última semana de clases que con un enorme tobogán acuático? Gracias a su apoyo durante todo el año, el PTA pudo ayudar a que estas celebraciones de fin de curso fueran aún más memorables para nuestros estudiantes.

Anyone leave this at Friday’s Summer Kickoff at the school? It was found on one of the tables, and we’ll leave it in the front office.

We had the best time after school yesterday! 🥰 We loved celebrating the end of the school year with all the GW families and friends who came out to the Summer Kickoff Celebration on such a gorgeous day. And thank you to all the businesses and community organizations that shared fun activities and goodies at their tables and contributed to our Ultimate Summer Fun Basket raffle, as well as Kim Einsla for painting beautiful designs on so many faces. And thanks to our high school volunteers! We are so grateful to have the support of all of you!

We’ll have FREE face painting, temporary tattoos, activities, food, and more! (Possibly a foam cannon!) Just a heads-up: Face paint + foam cannon may be a risky combination. 😄 Bring towels if your child plans to jump into the foam!

What a fun-filled day! ☀️🎉 Special thanks to Ms. Husser for organizing all the fun Field Day stations, and to all the parents and guardians who came to volunteer. All the students got ice pops for reaching our Tattoo the Staff fundraising goal. And our teachers and staff put smiles on everyone's faces with their new "ink," too!

Husser por organizar todas las estaciones tan entretenidas del Día de Campo, y a todos los padres y encargados que vinieron a ayudar como voluntarios. We had the perfect weather today for Field Day! Thank you, ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages, for once again donating all this water to keep our students, staff, and volunteers hydrated! We really appreciate your generosity! 💛💚

Thursday is Field Day! Which means we are eagerly awaiting photos of our teachers and staff all tattooed up! 😄

After a close race, Mrs. Sosa came out on top with $182 in tattoo orders! Ms. Granitz and Mrs. Masthay were close behind with $157 and $129 raised.

And thanks to all of you, we reached our fundraising goal—so every student will get an ice pop on Field Day!

Después de una competencia muy reñida, ¡la Sra. Sosa quedó en primer lugar con $182 en pedidos de tatuajes! Ms. Granitz y la Sra. Masthay le siguieron muy de cerca con $157 y $129 recaudados.

Y gracias a todos ustedes, alcanzamos nuestra meta de recaudación—¡así que todos los estudiantes recibirán una paleta de hielo después de las actividades del Día de Campo!
