MEET THE OFFICER: PRESIDENT

Hello, my name is James Thomas! I’m the current NSO President, and am expecting to graduate after this Fall Semester. I’m going to be working in the ICU when I graduate, and I’d like to continue my education down the line and become an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Before I was in NCC’s nursing program, I was a paratrooper medic in the Army. There, I honed my first responder and trauma medicine skillsets. I’d always looked forward to expanding my medical knowledge beyond the “point of injury”, and I’ve very much enjoyed learning the more comprehensive practice of nursing care. I’m looking forward to meeting those of you who would like to join the NSO, where the students of NCC’s nursing program make a difference!
