One of the ways I prepared my kids for living in the USA was by making them read this book "The Diary of a Wimpy Kid. " This book by Jeff Kinney is a book series about Greg Heffley, a middle schooler who records his experiences in a journal.

The book is so easy to read and relatable so it helped my kids learn how school and life worked in the USA before they came here.

I actually got to know about the book after we got the first copy inside and the Indomie carton during one of their promos. So I ended up buying a few copies of the series and my brother now bought them the entire series.

If you are bringing children especially teenagers to the USA you need to prepare their minds well.

I will elaborate more on this in my subsequent posts.

I am writing to let you know about my concerns regarding the current monetization structure on Facebook, which seems to disproportionately favor visual content creators, particularly through video. This trend has led to a surge in video content, making it difficult for those who excel in written expression to thrive within the platform's ecosystem.

Many talented individuals, particularly those who may be more introverted, feel compelled to conform to a style that may not align with their strengths to achieve fair compensation. This shift raises concerns about whether the platform is unintentionally encouraging a culture where only extroverted, visually-oriented content prevails, sidelining valuable written contributions.

Historically, Facebook has been a vibrant space for dialogue and the sharing of ideas. Users engaged in meaningful conversations, exchanged opinions, and shared personal stories, fostering a rich community. However, the current emphasis on dynamic video content seems to overshadow these foundational aspects, creating an environment where only the most animated performers receive adequate recognition and reward.

While we all understand the importance of earning a living through our passions, many users wish to maintain their intellectual integrity and critical thinking skills while engaging on Facebook. In this era of diversity, equity, and inclusion, we must cultivate a platform that allows all voices to be heard and rewarded, regardless of their chosen mode of expression.

I urge you to consider the possibility of creating a more equitable monetization framework that values all types of content equally, providing a level playing field for creators of varying temperaments and personalities.

First of all let us tell a little bit of back story

The church just concluded a synod and issues such as will the church accept gay marriages and polygamy came up.

The church said they will not change their stand on homosexuality and polygamy.

Marriage is still between a male man and a female woman as stipulated by three Bible. Also a valid marriage is between one male man and one male woman. No negotiations on that.

However, as human beings irrespective of what situations we are living in, be it adultery, fornication, homosexuality, guilt of murder, guilt of being a thief, robber, or even an assassin. Whether we are prostitiutes like Mary Magdalene, or corrupt government officials like Zacheaus and Mathew or if we are hypocritical religious leaders like Nicodemus and the Pharisees.. we all at some point are in need of Gods mercy and grace and we seek it even from the dept of sin.

Therefore, if an individual living in these situations ever came up to a priest asking for blessing, the priest should bless the Individual. Just the way a thief or pr******te can come to seek gods blessings.

These blessings do not happen within a formal setting and they are individual blessings and never suffices as marriage blessing.

It is not like any of this is new. Where I live in the USA priest bless everything including dogs, cats and all kinds of pets.
Back home in Nigeria we bless any and everything including salt used in bathing 🧽 and even oil used in cooking.

I am still looking for where the Pope said bless a homosexual union. Or bless a polygamous union.

This outcry we have now is akin to how the Jews and the Pharisees dragged Jesus for dining with sinners and allowing a pr******te wash his feet.

If Christ was to walk among us today… he will not discriminate against anyone because of their sexual orientation.

I hope my little understanding of the document helps anyone who genuinely wants to understand it.

As for those looking for reasons to say the catholic church is evil… una mind no go touch ground because this is not the first time the church is dealing with a sensitive issue such as this.

Man is evolving and as a church we need to cater for the evolution
