I know this isn't a current article/event, but it'd be very wise to take a look at this archived Reddit post on Obamacare. It's pretty old, but it breaks down the logistics without oversimplifying the content. Very useful to know if you're preparing for interviews for med schools.

ELI5: What exactly is Obamacare and what did it change? • /r/explainlikeimfive Okay, explained like you're a five year-old (well, okay, maybe a bit older), without too much oversimplification, and (hopefully) without sounding...

Hello Everyone!
LUAMSA will have the opportunity to volunteer in the Walk to Stop Diabetes which is the signature fundraising walk of the American Diabetes Association. Formerly Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes and America’s Walk for Diabetes, the event has been taking place for more than 20 years and has raised more than $175,000,000 to Stop Diabetes.
As volunteers, we will be helping with route marshals, food tents, registration, kids' zone, t-shirt tents, and event set-up/clean-up.
It will be on October 10 from 7:30AM-1:30PM at the IronPigs Stadium at the Coca Cola Park in Allentown, PA. I know this is the Saturday of Pacing Break so it may interfere with your trip back home. However, it would be great to have some members who are staying at Lehigh to come out or even members to leave for home after this event!
I have attached a google doc for people to sign up as volunteers/drivers.
