At our school, learning doesn’t just happen in the classroom. It happens when we visit a small business to converse with the owner about their passion, when a craftsperson from down the road shares their trade, and when kids explore the world around them with curiosity and care.

We are a community school and today, we’re asking our community to help us keep that spirit alive.

Behind every program we run, there’s a child discovering something for the first time. 🌿

A local beekeeper teaching them about pollination. A woodworker showing them how to build something with their hands. A walk through the woods that turns into a lesson about ecosystems, seasons, and care for the natural world.

What makes our school different? It’s the community inside and outside our walls. 💚

Our students don’t just read about the world, they experience it. They meet the farmers, artists, makers, and naturalists who live and work right here in our region. They explore the outdoors. They learn to care for each other and the world around them.

If your spring cleaning has left you with a pile of gadgets and gizmos you’re not sure what to do with, consider donating them to Woodland! We’re gearing up for our second Annual Yard Sale and community members are welcome to participate not only as shoppers, but donors! Check out the list of items we’re accepting along with our drop off schedule! Drop offs will be staffed and we’re happy to sort through items with you so that your goods have the best chance of finding new homes.

The yard sale dates are Saturday and Sunday May 16th and 17th and will coincide with the Tri-Town Yard Sale put on by the Franconia Notch Area Chamber of Commerce once again! See you soon!
