The California Drum Shop Lessons on Piano, Guitar, Bass, Strings, AND of course DRUMS! Since 1988 🌴 We have been teaching people to reach inside themselves and find their musical dreams!

We are FAMILY style - meaning this weekly session isn't just lessons and give us your money... no way. It becomes a family of friends. We have been here and touched so many peoples' lives since 1988. Heck, almost every teacher in the Lehigh Valley was our student at one time or another! Just ask them about us. Striving constantly to be better than yesterday!

We have a new instructor joining us at our AMAZING drum shop! Drum roll please... (get it?!)...

Welcome Lucas! Lucas Wolk has been a dedicated music educator in the Lehigh Valley and Poconos for more than a decade. A prominent drummer and performer in the local music scene, he has played hundreds of shows across genres - from rock and funk to metal and jazz - bringing a versatile and dynamic approach to his teaching.

Lucas has opened for a wide variety of artists, including playing dates on the Vans Warped Tour and opening for Weezer at Wind Creek Event Center. He’s also performed alongside jazz legend Larry Coryell, indie rock favorites Dawes, and metal powerhouses The Devil Wears Prada and Motionless In White—showcasing his ability to adapt to any style and setting.

He now brings that experience to students at California Drum Shop, where he offers limited lesson availability. Whether you’re picking up sticks for the first time or refining your technique, Lucas provides engaging, personalized instruction tailored to your goals.
