At Chrysostom Academy, we are proud of the vigorous academic program we have created over these last 4 years. This week, our program was put to the literal test, as our 3rd and 4th graders took the Classical Learning Test (CLT), allowing the Academy to objectively measure our student's academic progress and maintain the academic excellence we keep as one of our guiding principles.

At Chrysostom Academy, we often tell our students to be the bee, which means to selflessly work to help other people. This phrase was reified in a fun way for our students, who watched as a bee swarm was moved from near the recess field to the hives of the Monocacy Farm Project, where they will transform nectar from crops our students helped plant into honey!

What do we as people do when we're happy or excited about something? We have a parade! Chrysostom Academy's grammar school held its first Mid-Pentecost Procession to showcase the joy and excitement of this festal season! After the procession, each grade showcased a class project tied to the story of Pascha and the Good News of the Resurrection!
