Seton Academy of Bethlehem, PA - Closed 2013
The former Seton Academy was a Catholic primary school in the Diocese of Allentown.
We were a regional school which served 11 school districts and four parishes for children from Kindergarten through 8th grade.
Even though Seton Academy is no longer going to be an active school I will maintain this page for alumni/parents.
I have opened up the page to allow others to post and comment so that we can keep in touch as we go forward.
Regards,
Greg - the former Seton Academy webmaster

Seton Academy prepares for closure of beloved Bethlehem school The Catholic school in West Bethlehem has 84 students enrolled this year -- about half of what it had three years ago.
Kindergarten will celebrate all their accomplishments with a ceremony on Wednesday, June 5 at 10:30. Kindergarten families are invited to attend the celebration. After the ceremony they will share some delicious treats.
The weather held off for our Reading Phillies outing last Thursday. Despite the little bit of drizzle, everyone had a great time!
Happy Mother's Day!
Tuesday, May 14th, there will be school-wide concert at 7:00 p.m. More information will be sent home from school.
We need people to volunteer to bring goodies to share, anything that does not require a fork or spoon would be ideal.
We also need volunteers to provide plates and napkins.
Please contact Anj Oberholzer at [email protected] to let her know what you would like to bring. Thank you!!!
Memory Book
Dennis Kassick and Jeannine Wyke are working on a "Memory Book" of photos from the school year.
They are hoping to get LOTS of great photos, but they need your help pulling it together. Please send any photos of anything Seton related from this year to Jeannine at [email protected]
Thanks in advance for your help in making this book a very special keepsake.
Teacher Appreciation Week ~ May 6th - May 10th
Here are some suggestions for you and your children to do a little something special for the teachers who are working so hard to make the rest of the school year great for our kids.
“A Special Thank You” - write a note to your child’s teacher thanking them for all they do. OR have your child make a card or write a letter thanking their teacher.
“My Teacher is Sweet” - Send in a sweet treat with a cute note.
Examples: “You Rock” - Pop Rocks, “You’re EXTRA Special” - Extra Gum; "You’re the STAR” of our school - Starbursts; “You’re a Life Saver” - roll of lifesavers.
“Classroom Essentials” - Send in any classroom supplies to help restock the classroom for the end of the year: sanitizer, tissues, wipes, stickers, highlighters, pencils, crayons, etc.
"I’m Stuck On You” - Have your child write a special note on a post-it and they can place it on their teacher’s desk or chalkboard.
“Thank You For Helping Me Grow” - Have your child bring in a flower or two for your teacher. All of the flowers will make a beautiful bouquet.

The Night of the Stars was held last night and it was a great success.
The students did an awesome job on their art work and videos. Thank you Ms. Krause and Ms. Paul.
The teachers/staff were presented with a gift from the Home and School Association. Below is a picture of a few teachers with their gift.
