Happy BOXING DAY!
Have you ever wondered if BOXING DAY is a national holiday, named after my family? What is BOXING DAY?
📦FIRST: Historically, the day after Xmas, servants of the wealthy had been given time off to visit their families. Employers would hand their servants a BOX to take home, containing gifts, bonuses, and sometimes leftover food. Cats everywhere rejoice today, their favorite holiday—a day of BOXES!

SECOND: It was customary for tradespeople to collect Christmas BOXES of gifts and/or money as thanks for good service throughout the year.

THIRD: Traced back to the Victorian Age, churches would set out BOXES for additional monetary donations on 12/26
