Our 5th graders are putting service into action! Today, they partnered with Small Things Matter to help distribute food to families in need in our local community.

Through this year long partnership, our students are learning that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference. We are excited to see them continue serving others throughout the school year, including alongside their 1st-grade prayer partners!

Your support makes experiences like these possible! Through The Woods Academy Annual Fund, we can continue providing meaningful opportunities that inspire our students to lead with compassion, grow through service, and make a difference beyond the classroom.

At The Woods Academy, learning comes to life through color, creativity, and imagination.

In Lower School, our students explore the visual arts as a hands-on experience. experimenting with materials, developing new skills, and discovering how art can help them see themselves and the world around them in new ways.

Every brushstroke is an opportunity to create, explore, and take a creative risk. 💚

A little back-to-school throwback!

Before we welcome our Mighty Owls back on Monday, we’re looking back at a first day at The Woods featuring alumna Amalia Villegas Vega ‘17 and her two brothers! Today, Ms. Villegas is back at The Woods as a Learning Support Flex Teacher, and we’re so glad she found her way back home. 💚

Some things may change over the years, but the excitement of a new school year at The Woods never does!
