USU's EMDP2 is a 24-month program for highly-qualified enlisted service members interested in a career as a military physician.
Candidates attend school full-time while remaining on active duty to prepare them to apply to medical school. The Uniformed Services University (USU) is partnering with the Armed Services to develop and implement the Enlisted to Medical Degree Preparatory Program (EMDP2). Our 9th cohort of EMDP2 students began their program of studies this month! Here they are during orientation and on the first day of class (General Chemistry I). This class includes 7 Soldiers, 7 Sailors, 9 Airmen, and 2 Marines. Cohort 9 is enjoying life!
The announcement message for the next application cycle has been posted at https://medschool.usuhs.edu/academics/emdp2/application-process. Make sure you also download the current application forms (FY-23) if you plan to apply this year for the class starting in July 2023.
