On Tuesday, the kids eagerly returned to outdoor play and worked together to build an igloo. It was another enchanting day at SNS.

A big thank you to all the families who came out for our annual Valentine’s Day Family Fun Night and to the social committee for putting together an amazing night of activities, crafts, pizza, and treats.

December may be a short month at school, but it was packed! A highlight every year is learning about our families’ holiday traditions. We were taught about Japanese New Year's celebrations, learned about Christmas in the summer in Argentina, decorated ornaments, learned about lighting Hanukkah candles, made maracas like those used during caroling in Puerto Rico, left shoes out for the three kings, read festive books, snacked on holiday treats, and got crafty. Thank you for all of our families for making SNS such a special place!

Wishing our Yellowbird, Bluebird and Redbird Families a joyful holiday season! We hope you enjoy the break.

Join our Hatchlings winter session - limited spots left! The Hatchlings is a weekly playgroup for children aged 8 months to 2 years old and a parent or caregiver. It's their first step into a classroom environment and provides the opportunity for families to connect to other families with similar aged kids and build a supportive community. We're excited to join forces with Day of Calm and Rescue a School to collect shoes for those in need! Between November 12th and 21st, donate your gently used or new shoes in the garden basket. Let's spread kindness and gratitude this Thanksgiving season!
