Wyngate's WE Cares team has partnered with Leveling the Playing Field, an organization that redistributes sports equipment to under-resourced communities, with the goal of expanding access and equity in youth sports.

From now until May 29, we are collecting gently used balls, nets, rackets, shin guards, cleats and much more. Please drop off anything you want to give at the front of Wyngate ES; you'll see three big boxes waiting to be filled. Please visit levelingtheplayingfield.org for more information!

Our next Dine Out to support the PTA is this Wednesday at California Tortilla in Bethesda! You can order online or in store, but make sure to follow the directions here!

A perfect way to make your hump day a little easier this week!

Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week is next week, May 4-8th! This year we will be showing our appreciation for the staff in a variety of ways.

The theme this year is: You are STARS! 🌟🌟🌟 so let's roll out the red carpet for our beloved staff members!

Here are some ideas on ways you can pitch in --

Monday: Fan Mail - flood them with letters and cards of appreciation 💌

Tuesday: Stars: They're Just Like Us! - wear your teacher's favorite color or dress like your favorite staff member 🤩

Wednesday: Swag Day - Bring your teacher their favorite school supply or something you know they love! 📓

Thursday: Cinema & Snacks - Bring your teacher their favorite candy or snack. 🍿

Friday: Curtain Call - Wyngate's Annual Flower Day - Bring flowers for your teacher and specialists! 💐
