Two weeks ago, the WES community came together to celebrate the remarkable career and lasting legacy of our outgoing Director of Admission and Financial Aid, Kim Bair, as she prepares for her well-earned retirement after nearly 35 years of dedicated service to WES.
Kim began her time at WES as a classroom teacher for Early Childhood (then called our Nursery Program) and later stepped into a leadership role on our Admissions team in 2014. She is a proud WES parent to three alumni from the Classes of ‘07, ‘09, and ‘11. Across every role, she has led with warmth, wisdom, and a deep care for children and families.
Her retirement celebration brought together WES alumni, current and former families, educators, and friends whose lives have been touched by her work. Throughout the evening, remarks honored not only her years of service, but the countless relationships, memories, and moments of belonging she helped create along the way. With deep gratitude, we celebrate Kim Bair and all she has given to WES. 💙💛
