A good book can introduce a new word, open up a different perspective, or lead to a question you hadn’t thought to ask before.

There’s still plenty of summer left to find a story that sparks your curiosity and opens new doors! Find WES Summer Reading + Summer Learning resources at the link in our bio.

THANK YOU to our campers, CITs, counselors, families, and staff for making Summer@WES so special! 💛

Campers experimented in Wacky Science and brought their ideas to life through sustainable art projects. They explored beyond campus on field trips and confidently shared their skills at Friday talent shows. Our Camp X-Cel leaders also stepped up to plan activities for younger campers, from an under-the-sea treasure hunt to a carnival of their own!

That’s what Summer@WES is all about: learning through play and building friendships along the way.

Swipe through a few of our favorite memories. We’re already looking forward to another Summer@WES together! 🐉

How would you describe Summer@WES?

There are plenty of ways to describe Summer@WES, so we asked our campers what comes to mind first. Here’s what they had to say! 🎤🐉

This summer, Alumni returned to campus in a new role: camp counselor. 🐉💛

It has been especially meaningful to watch former WES students become role models for the next generation.
To our alumni counselors, thank you for returning to campus and making this summer so special for our campers. We’re proud of who you’ve become and grateful you chose to share your summer with us!

The sweetest field trip of the summer? We think so. 🧁
Our campers from Ms. Maxson’s ‘Baking it Happen’ visited Georgetown Cupcake for a hands-on cupcake decorating workshop. They practiced their piping skills before personalizing each treat with colorful details and custom Summer@WES toppers.

Thank you to the Georgetown Cupcake team for sharing your craft and giving our campers such a memorable experience! 💗

[SWIPE if you want to smile!]
A few things that made us smile this week at Summer@WES. ☀️💛

A friendship taking shape.

A reason to get a little messy.

A little confidence in the making.

A little confidence in the making.

A new skill unlocked.

A moment we’re glad someone captured.

Another week of summer, well spent.
And we still have one more to go! 🐉

After an exhilarating World Cup final last night that included a pivotal red card for Argentina late in the game, we’ve been thinking about what our “red cards” are at WES 🟥 ⚽ Whether winning or losing, struggling or succeeding, our WES community always upholds the same standards of play. Kind. Confident. Prepared. That’s how we roll! 🐉

Welcome to the circus! 🎪✨

Our wonderful camp counselors and CITs helped bring the big top to life with an afternoon full of color, laughter, and nonstop fun.

From carnival games to face painting, every detail was thoughtfully planned to transform an ordinary camp day into an unforgettable experience for our youngest Dragons.

The circus may have only been in town for the afternoon, but the smiles (and face paint!) will last much longer. 🐉🎡
