📚🩺 Teaching the Next Generation at USUHS! 🩺📚

Our Pediatric Residents (Nicole, Brad , and Ellie) joined Pediatric GI Fellow Maj Daley Auvil for a day of teaching at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS).

It’s always great to see our residents and fellows stepping into the educator role—sharing their knowledge, building confidence as teachers, and helping support the next generation of military physicians. 💙

We’re proud to see our Peds team representing and giving back through medical education!

Another block in the books for this awesome crew! Our Block 4 Ward Team (Brittany, Nicole, Natalie, Brenda, and Devin) brought teamwork, dedication, and plenty of camaraderie to the inpatient service. 💪🏽👩🏽‍⚕️👨🏻‍⚕️

Long days, nights, busy shifts, and lots of learning—but always better when you have a great team beside you. ❤️

There’s something extra special about seeing one of our graduates in clinic —this time as a mom—with the next generation of our Peds family in tow. 💙

🍂🍻Fall Resident Retreat Happy Hour! 🍻🍂

After a fun-filled day of House Games, teamwork, and friendly competition, our Pediatric Residents wrapped up the Fall Resident Retreat with some well-deserved time to relax, eat, laugh, and enjoy one another’s company❤️💙💚💛

Resident retreats aren’t just about stepping away from the hospital—they’re about strengthening friendships, building community, and creating memories together outside of work.

Our Pediatric Residents enjoyed some time away from the hospital for our Fall Resident Retreat, filled with teamwork, friendly competition, laughter, and plenty of House pride! ❤️💙💚💛

From outdoor challenges to indoor games, it was a great opportunity to strengthen connections, recharge, and enjoy some friendly competition with our amazing residency family.

Additional shout outs to Dr. Zanetti, Paola Robles Vera, and Grace Manno for planning a fantastic Fall Resident Retreat! Fun was had by all!

Dr. Min joined us today, and we were finally able to present him with his farewell gift. 💙

We’re so grateful for the time he spent with our Pediatrics family and for all he contributed along the way. It was wonderful having the opportunity to celebrate him and wish him well on his next chapter.

Hopefully this isn’t really goodbye — we’re looking forward to seeing Dr. Min again soon… this time as a civilian! 😊💙
