Our residents spent time in the Simulation Lab for Sim & Skills Day! 🩺🏥

During the session, they participated in hands-on training focused on foreign body removal, needle decompression, and airway management skills.

Simulation training provides a supportive environment to practice real-life clinical scenarios while strengthening teamwork, communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.

We’re proud of our trainees and their continued commitment to learning, growing, and providing excellent care to our pediatric patients. 💙

Every now and then, it’s nice to trade scrubs for sunshine and enjoy a sweet treat with great company. 🩺➡️😎🍨 Because teamwork is even sweeter with a scoop (or two) of ice cream! 💛

Honoring a Legacy!

Although Dr. Foxx retired last year after more than 30 years of dedicated service to our department, we were honored to welcome her back for a special visit.

During her time with us, we had the privilege of presenting her retirement certificate and reflecting on the countless lives she touched, the careers she helped shape, and the lasting impact she made throughout an extraordinary career.

Thank you, Dr. Foxx, for your decades of service, mentorship, and commitment to excellence. Your legacy continues to inspire our team and the generations of trainees who have benefited from your guidance.
