Gianni fell in love with ballroom dancing and at the age of 13, he decided to pursue his career as a ballroom dancer and promised to himself that he would become a great dancer. In 2006, when he was 18 years old, Gianni became a semi-finalist in Under-21 division at Blackpool Dance Festival, International Championships, and German Open. Arianna Esposito also started dancing at a young age in her hometown in southern Italy when her parents decided that dancing would help Arianna be little bit more disciplined. She was introduced to ballroom dancing at the age of 9, and fell in love with a dance called “Polka”, which is a similar dance to her current favorite dance, Quickstep. She thought this faster, more energetic dance was much more fun and suited her more compared to ballet. She started her ballroom dancing career with her brother, and they achieved many good results together. In 2008, Gianni and Arianna, then boyfriend/girlfriend, now a husband and wife, decided to dance together. By 2010, Gianni and Arianna became an amateur ballroom vice-champion in the WDC National Championship in Italy and a semi-finalist in the WDC World Championships. They placed 3rd in Professional Ballroom Rising Star division at U.K. Open and International Championship in 2013, and since then they have been moving up the ranks of world professional ballroom dancers. Currently, their highest achievement is winning the U.K. Enzo and Yo's Story: Born in manduria, a small town in southern Italy, Vincenzo (Enzo) started dancing at 11 when his mother advised him to try ballroom dancing because of his unnaturally good posture while playing soccer. He started dancing with his younger sister, Arianna. First they stated competing in Italian smooth style and in 2001, they became southern Italian champion in their age category. In 2002, Arianna had to stop dancing due to physical problem so Enzo decided to dance with his then girlfriend. He and his new partner worked well together and became 10-dance National finalist in 2004. After 3 years, Enzo and Arianna decided to dance together again and returned to the competition floor at the FIDS Puglia Regional championship in 2007. Soon they placed in the top 3 in the international standard in amateur adult division. Subsequently they started competing in the Latin style as well, and they made finals in both styles at all of the biggest closed national events. He took a break from dancing upon graduating from the university in 2008 but decided to come back to the dance world and turned professional in 2014. He followed his sister’s footstep and moved to the U.S. and started dancing with his new partner, Yo in 2016. Enzo and Yo have been competing both nationally and internationally since.
