Naveena began working at Landon over ten years ago as a lead teacher in Preschool Day Camp and is entering her sixth summer as Director of Preschool Day Camp! Naveena has over 20 years of experience teaching with MCPS and is excited to spend another summer at Landon!

Amy has taught Pre-K, First Grade, and Reading Initiative throughout her over 20-year career in education and is excited for another summer at Landon!

Director, Boys Day Camp

☀️ Danny Wyman
Assistant Director, Boys Day Camp

David became the Director of Boys Day Camp in 2024 after previously serving as Assistant Director beginning in 2019. He previously worked with Boys Day Camp as a soccer coach and brings years of leadership and teaching experience to the program. During the school year, David teaches Social Studies at Northwest High School in Germantown, Maryland.

Danny joined Landon Summer in 2025 as the Girls Day Camp Woodshop teacher and is excited to step into his new role as Assistant Director for Boys Day Camp this summer! During the school year, Danny works as a Paraeducator at Woodlin Elementary School and also serves as Director at Valley Mill Camp-Boys.

We can’t wait for another amazing summer at Boys Day Camp! 💙☀️

Ally has been a part of Landon Summer since 2017 and has served as Director of Girls Day Camp since 2021! During the school year, she is a first-grade teacher and creates a fun, welcoming environment for campers every summer.

Jazmyn is so excited to be part of Girls Day Camp this summer! She brings nine years of childcare experience and five years in education to Landon Summer. During the school year, Jazmyn is also a first-grade teacher!

We can’t wait for another amazing summer at Girls Day Camp! ☀️💖

No matter the experience level, campers build skills through drills, scrimmages, and fun team challenges, plus themed days like Crazy Hat Day and Soccer Jersey Day keep the energy high all week!

Staff Spotlight💡Meet Your Counselors: Girls Day Camp Edition 🦋

Say hi to Kay and Sofia: two returning counselors who both started at Landon Summer as campers. Sofia is back for her 3rd summer on staff, and Kay for her 4th.

Sofia: “I love the community at camp. It’s something I always look forward to, and I enjoy helping kids feel comfortable and welcome.”

Kay: “Camp is a really fun place to be. Everyone wants to be here, so it creates a great environment. There are tons of activities, so even as a counselor I still have fun. Everyone’s also really kind.”
