He was very passionate about physics, often engaging his family and friends in lengthy dialogues about the universe and how it all began and where it was going next. When it came to achieving his goals, he practiced a level of discipline that many people never exert. The first annual 5K Race to raise funds for the Chuck Pacholkiw Memorial Scholarship is on. All proceeds from this race will go to the Chuck Pacholkiw Memorial Scholarship, which, in turn, will be awarded to a deserving local high-school student who displays a passion for Math and/or Physics much in the same way that Chuck was.
