What a spooktacular day we've had at our Halloween celebration! Our little pirates, astronauts, bats, and pumpkins had a blast with a day full of fun activities! From creating festive decorations to enjoying special snacks, the children had an amazing time. Of course, the highlight of the day was our adorable Halloween Scene costume parade. Everyone looked so creative, and we loved sharing the Halloween spirit with the BNS families. Thanks to everyone for making Halloween 2025 one to remember!

Bannockburn Nursery School Acorns Music Class for Children Ages 0-2 & Their Caregivers Begins Thursday, Sept. 18

BNS is excited to resume its Acorns Music Class this Thursday, Sept. 18. Children ages 0-2 and their caregivers are welcome on Thursday mornings from 9:45-10:15 am for our weekly Acorns Music Class ($18/class on a drop-in basis). During this program, children and their grown-ups will explore song, rhythm/movement, and one another while meeting other area children and families.

Registration is now open for Bannockburn Nursery School's 2025-2026 school year! Our one-of-a-kind early childhood program has been providing quality preschool education since 1950. At BNS, we believe in the value of learning through play while nurturing each child's individual developmental needs.

In addition, throughout this current school year, children ages 0-2 and their caregivers are welcome on Thursday mornings from 9:45-10:15am for our weekly ongoing Acorns Music Class ($17/class on drop-in basis). During this program, children and their grown-ups will explore song, rhythm/movement, and one another while meeting other area children and families.

We had a wonderful visit with Montgomery County At-Large Councilmember Will Jawando, complete with a read-aloud in our Sprouts class!

Our BNS Halloween Scene celebration was a blast with music, special activities and a fantastic costume parade. Thanks to our costumed cuties - firefighters, lions, werewolves, unicorns (and more!) for making it an amazing day!

And check out BNS teachers dressed as fun "math monsters!" With the school's focus this year on math engagement and activities, our Halloween costume focus really highlighted our love for numbers (and fun!)!
