History

The program was started by Father Michael Sliney, LC in Bethesda, Maryland, a suburb of Washington D.C., in the Fall of 1997. The inspiration for the program came from the real need for character and virtue formation in a hands-on manner. We seek to empower the community by re-enforcing the values they are trying to instill. Therefore this program is a source of positive peer pressure in
