Getting comfortable with Desmos is essential to maximizing your Digital SAT math score. However, over-reliance leaves you vulnerable to too many variables. Thus, you need to know how to do all math problems both with and without Desmos for peak performance on test day.

What You Need to Know About the Digital SAT Math Sections:
The content of the Math section on the digital SAT focuses on functions, linear relationships, quadratic equations, circles, triangles, stats and probability, exponentials, percents and basic trig.
The are two Modules: Module 1 and Module 2. For each module, students have 35 minutes to answer 22 questions.
The test is computer adaptive by section. Based on how the student performs in Module 1, the students gets an “easy” or “hard” Module 2.
There is an on-screen calculator or you can bring your own.
Geometry formulas are given. However, there are other formulas you need to know.
Scoring is 200-800.
What You Need to Know About the Digital SAT:
Four sections: Reading and Writing (Modules 1 and 2) and Math (Modules 1 and 2).
Test is on the computer (Bluebook app) but you still need to take it at a school or a testing center on a national test date.
First Digital SAT is March 2024.
October 2023 PSAT/NMSQT was first digital PSAT.
Based on the how you do on the first module, you will either receive the “hard” or “easy” second module. The structure of Module 2 is similar to Module 1.
Scoring is computer adaptive not just based on number you get correct. Scale is 200-800.
