Gould is proud to announce that Jasper Wills ’26 has received an appointment to West Point - The U.S. Military Academy, one of the nation’s most selective service academies.

Admission to West Point requires a Congressional nomination and a rigorous application process. Jasper received nominations from U.S. Senators Angus King and Susan Collins and Congressman Jared Golden. Fewer than 10% of applicants are offered admission each year, and Jasper was one of only three students selected from Maine.

We’ve been putting this off because we’re not ready to say goodbye. The time has come to celebrate the Gould Academy Class of 2026 💙

Over the next week, seniors will participate in the traditions that mark the end of their time at Gould. The Senior Bonfire, the Five Words Assembly, the Senior Canoe Float, Baccalaureate, and finally Commencement.

We’re proud of the impact these students have had, grateful for their leadership, and excited to see where life takes them next.
