Maine State Book Award Challenge kickoff! 6th-grade students were introduced to the MSBA books with a Speed Book Dating activity. 7th and 8th grade will be able to learn more about the books later in the week. Students have to read 4 or more books from the list and then they can vote for their favorite! Lots of talking about books today!

A huge thank you to the Telstar Middle School PTA for providing a second set of the Maine Student Book Award titles this year. We have 30 students participating in this challenge and having more books allows more students to read these awesome titles. At the end of the year, I will be giving these books out to our readers. And check out the Telstar Learning Commons' New Rolling Cart! On Thursdays and Fridays, I roll the cart to the middle school RAP rooms. This is my favorite part of the week!
